Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre and Equinoterapia Girona Mas Alba have signed their 8^th Cooperation Agreement to develop an Equine Therapy Program for the students at Mare de Déu del Mont School, from Vilafant.

From April to June 2016, 20 children aged 6 to 14 attended Equine Therapy sessions distributed for the purpose into small groups. These groups showed different degrees of cognitive, psychomotor or social diversity.

The goal was to work on physical, neuromotor, psychosocial, cognitive and affective-emotional areas, according to the particular needs of all and each participant.

Keeping in its line of promoting Equestrian Therapy, Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre has supported the program so more users can access work out routines that increase the positive effects of learning and their personal wellbeing.
