The 5th cooperation agreement between Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre and Arekitemo, from Vitoria, was signed in order to guarantee the continuity of the program “Incluyendo a Caballo” (Inclusion on Horse), launched in 2017.

 
The program consisted in a workshop designed to get 27 members of Gorbeialde Special Needs School in contact with horses, and was held on several Tuesdays and Thursdays in May and June.
Besides the therapeutic riding sessions, the workshop dealt with issues as learning to take care of the horses and equipment as a way of accepting responsibilities, to overcome fear approaching the horses, and physical exercise.

 
Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre fosters Equestrian Therapies for the benefit of students at Special Education Schools, as an ideal activity to blend into their educational program, and expects that the benefits obtained with the workshop will encourage continuous practice.
