Ikiriki Association, at Vitoria-Gasteiz, has received this year support from Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre to develop the “Interaction and Learning with Horses and Nature, Psycho-educational Workshop”.  It’s the fourth project of this association supported by our foundation.

 
The workshop, scheduled in four sessions (May 4^th, 7^th, 11^th and 13^th), each about two hours long, was attended by a group of 11 youths recruited among the participants in the first series of the Basic Learning Sessions held at the Task Learning Classroom of Egibide School Centre, in Arriaga (Victoria-Gasteiz). For most of them, it was their first contact with horses.

 
With this collaboration, Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre keeps working towards social integration and equality of opportunities, with a privileged agent, the horse, capable of great educational and emotional outputs.
Involvement in this activity has given the youths opportunities of self-development, and teen-age related conflictmanagement, within a motivational and gratifying environment.
