Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre and Fundación A Caballo, from Madrid, have established a cooperation agreement to provide an adapted access ramp to be used in their equestrian therapy sessions.

Apart from individual therapies for children and youths aged from 2 to 19 with different conditions, they also conduct group activities with other associations and foundations, and educational and training events with other professionals and universities, for all of which the ramp is an essential piece of equipment.

All these activities were scheduled from Tuesday to Sunday, January to July and September to December, for a total of 48 users who regularly benefit from individual therapies.

Up to this moment, Fundación A Caballo was centred in Equestrian Therapies targeting individuals with intellectual diversity. The donation of the access ramp enabled them to open their services to people with physical diversity. Once again Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre has contributed to a more universal access to Equestrian Therapies.
