Equestrian Training for Social and Labor Integration – Fundación Caballo Amigo

In continuity with the collaborative trajectory with Fundación Caballo Amigo, Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre establishes its fourteenth consecutive agreement to support several of its projects, such as the Equestrian Training for Social and Labor Integration of Youth with Disability.

 
The equestrian training program for the Social and Labor Inclusion of Young People with Disabilities consists of a initiation day to the equestrian world, an Intensive Equestrian Training seminar, and practical horse-carer assistant training
This training is aimed at young people with disabilities between the ages of 16 and 21, enrolled in an educational program for transition to adulthood or occupational workshops.
A total of 46 students from A la Par school have participated in it during several days during the months from September to November, from which the 16 students who have demonstrated the most aptitude to continue with equestrian training have finally been selected.

 
The training work as Auxiliary Horses Caregivers for young people with disabilitiesby Fundación Caballo Amigo aimed at their social and labor inclusion, deserves recognition in a support way from Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre, since it allows to opening new avenues of specialized training in occupational centers, and generates professional opportunities for these young people in transition to adulthood, simultaneously it increases their levels of self-esteem and motivation for their future options.
