XXIII Navarra Riding Games – Federación Navarra de Deportes Adaptados
The second Federación Navarra de Deportes Adaptados’ project that has received the support of the Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre in 2019 has been the XXIII Navarra Riding Games, with have received support up to 8 times in the last 10 years of agreements signed with Federación Navarra.
Juegos Navarros de Equitación were born with the spirit of promoting this sport among people with intellectual diversity, and this year they celebrate their twenty-second edition.
Rio Irati, El Molino, ANFAS, La Atalaya, Las Hayas, Isterria, Valle de Roncal, Oncineda, Anasaps, Aspace y APNEBH Clubs have participated in the Games at El trisquel, Zolina, Cabanillas, Labiano, Campo Alegre (Tudela) y Ayegui (Estella) Riding Centers, during the months of March, April, May, June, September and October.
The Games consisted of 1-hour practical riding lessons for four days in groups of 4 trainees. The total number of participants was 453.
In this edition, the number of participants has increased over a 30%, a proof that the work of the riding centers is having a great impact on the lives of their users and makes this activity increasingly demanded by inclusive clubs, both for its sporting qualities as for the benefits they bring at a personal level, indicators of great value for the Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre.
