The program “La Equitación como Recurso Educativo” (Riding as an educational resource), is the second Fundación Caballo Amigo project, from Villafranca del Castillo (Madrid), backed by Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre in 2018, which makes a total of 13.

 
“La Equitación como Recurso Educativo” focused on  Buenafuente School, a special needs education centre for persons with diversity.

 
During the school year, all pupils from this school, a total of 60, attended the riding centre in the mornings assisted by their teacher, to participate in different activities, including therapeutic riding.

 
Both the School Board andthe teachers could confirm the benefits that riding and contact with horses bring to the education of these children, and subsequently have proposed to include Equestrian Therapy in the educational offering of Buenafuente School in a near future, which is a social aim of Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre.
