Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre and Riendamiga Association signed their 6^th Cooperation Agreement to conduct the course on “Autism Spectrum Disorders and Hippotherapy: Basic Strategies”.

The course was held on May 5^th and 6^th at Venta de la Rubia Riding Centre, located in Alcorcón (Madrid), with a total of 13 participants.

The course focused on knowledge on ASD and their characteristics, communication and behavioural patterns in children, sensory integration, and the use of prevention and intervention strategies in equestrian environments.

Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre supports this project in the beliefthat education and training are essential to ensure the effectiveness of Equestrian Therapies, so the most convenient technique for each case is correctly conducted.
