Adapted Riding School – Federación Navarra de Deportes Adaptados

Continuing with the progression of recent years, Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre and Federación Navarra de Deportes Adaptados established in 2019 their tenth collaboration agreement, to develop, among other projects, its Adapted Riding School.

 
Adapted Riding School is an ongoing program offered by the Federation committed with the promotion os sports and the inclusion of people with disabilities in leisure-sport spaces through horse riding and inclusive camps.
The Riding Sports School was held at Labiano Riding Club during the months of May and June and in July there was  an inclusive camp for people with and without disabilities, all under the direction of Virginia Blasco, sharing spaces and schedules with other horsemen and women who attended the riding club to do inclusive work in addition to receive equine therapy in sessions of 45 minutes handling of the horse and another 45 doing horse care and grooming activities. In total there have been 11 beneficiaries.

 
Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre wants to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities through projects such as those carried out by Federación Navarra de Deportes Adaptados, which strives to boost equestrian activities among diverse groups united by passion for horses.
