West Galicia Association

West Galicia is a group that represents the interests of children suffering from different Rare Diseases, but with common worries and needs.

Children diagnosed with West Syndrome are offered therapy in which horses, donkeys or mules, and their capacity for multidimensional movement, are the actual work tools. They use different techniques to enhance their social integration and their physical, psychological and social development.

In 2016, Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre established a collaboration agreement with West Galicia Association by which adapted equestrian equipment will be issued as a contribution to the continuity and effectiveness of their therapies.
