Asociación de Personas con Necesidades Especiales de Eivissa y Formentera – A.P.N.E.E.F. (Eivissa and Formentera Association of Persons with Special Needs)

APNEEF is the Eivissa (Ibiza) and Formentera Association of Persons with Special Needs. It is a non-profit organization created in December 1998, by a group of parents with a common concern: To fill the gap in the therapeutic care of children with special needs in the Balearic Islands.

Members of this association are children and youths of all ages with special needs due to physical or intellectual disability, or sensorial impairment.

The association conducts different activities oriented to re-education, rehabilitation, integration, and raising awareness on the rights and protection of people with special needs and their families.

Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre will contribute in 2017 with the donation of adapted riding equipment to improve the effectiveness and safety standards of their equine therapy program.
