Fundación la Manerana, from Lérida, is  among  the  entities  that    this  year  have  received  the  support  of  Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre;  in  this  case,   help  comes  to  provide  a  mounting  block  to  facilitate  transference  on  to  the  horse.  

Fundación Manreana assists  infant,  youth,  adult  and  elderly  population  with  intellectual,  physical  and/or   psychological  needs,  or  at  risk  of  social  exclusion,  so  they  can  benefit  from  Equestrian   Therapies  through  individual  of  group  activities.  
Fundación Manreana has  a   multidisciplinary  team  of  professionals  who  work  from  an  inclusive  and  comprehensive   perspective,  at  both  prevention  and  care  levels,  to  provide  individuals  and  their  family  systems   with  healthy  leisure,  therapy  and  rehabilitation.  
Since  the  moment  the  mounting  block  was  ready,  in  June  2018,  from  65  to  75  persons  have   been  using  it  every  week;  mainly  adults  with  reduced  mobility.  

The  main  goal  of  Fundación Manreana,  shared  by  Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre, is  to  increase  wellbeing  and  personal  autonomy  of   individuals  with  special  needs  due  to  their  physical,  psychological  or  social  issues,  so  they  can   overcome  barriers  and  build  up  skills  through  Horse  Assisted  Interventions.
