Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre and Emoticanimal, from Palma de Mallorca, have established their first cooperation agreement for the sponsorship of their program “Crines Terapéuticas” (“Therapeutic Manes”).

 
“CrinesTerapéuticas” (“Therapeutic Manes”) is an equestrian therapy programme conducted at Palma Son Magraner Riding Centre held in May for 6 participants from Amadiba a non-profit organization that works giving attention and support to persons with intellectual diversity and their families. Its members had no previous contact with horses.

 
Participants got involved in different activities, learning about the tools for the grooming and care of horses, foot on ground exercises, therapeutic riding, and cognitive stimulation through psycho-pedagogic exercises with horses as a topic.
 

 
Bringing new potential beneficiaries close to Equestrian Therapies is one of the main objectives of Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre. The evolution of their interest, participation and motivation is assessed from the beginning to the end of the programme.
