Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre cooperated  in  2018  with  Asociación de Especialistas en Terapias Ecuestres (ASETE), from Manises (Valencia),  through  the  third  agreement  set  between  both   institutions.
 
Four  persons  from  different  centres,  aged  17  to  31,  suffering  from  ADHD,  cerebral  palsy,  Down   Syndrome  and  other  conditions,  received  grants  to  participate  in  the  Equestrian  Therapy   Project  “Primer  contacto,  primera  ilusión”  (“First  Contact,  First  Thrill”).  
Four  50  minutes  therapy  sessions  were  conducted  during  March  and  April,  scheduled  as   closely  as  it  was  possible  to  build  up  and  maximize  their  benefits.  

Their  effects  were  very  positive  on  all  participants,  and  all  goals  regarding  physical  workout   and  therapeutic  improvement  of  the  different  conditions  were  met.  Some  participants   requested  to  continue  with  the  therapy,  so Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre believes  that  introducing  new  users  to  these   therapies  is  an  important  part  of  their  promotion.
