Equine Therapy: ASPACE Navarra
The Foundation to Promote Equestrian Sports and ASPACE Navarra Residencial collaborated this year for the first time in order to carry out several equine therapy sessions for different users with disabilities in the area of Navarra.
An overall 18 participants aged 14-50 could benefit from different therapies, which lasted 30 minutes each, over 6 days in October. The sessions were conducted at the Center Ramón y Cajal, owned by Foundation ASPACE in Zizur Menor. For these therapies, they received collaboration from Biki Blasco’s team, also from Pamplona.
Through this collaboration, the Foundation to Promote Equestrian Sports keeps on working on the increasing use of horses as therapeutic agents, encouraging associations to develop this type of therapies so that users may benefit and promote the virtues of this practice through their example.
