Donation of Adaptive Riding Equipment – Fundación MHG
Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre and Fundación MHG, from Madrid, sign their eighth collaboration agreement to donate Adaptive Riding Equipment to their Equine-Assisted Interventions program.
Fundación MHG carries out daily Equestrian Therapy sessions in which users with multiple disabilities of different ages participate and coming from residential centers, day care and centers; boys and girls who come after their school or adults with functional diversity, as well as other people at risk.
On this occasion, there were 36 beneficiaries who, at a private level, without being part of any association, attended the therapeutic sessions.
The programs developed by Fundación MHG are fundamentally based on equestrian therapies with a framework of application to people with disabilities and developmental disorders, but also to students in general through activities that complement the curricular programming in disciplines related to the environmental education, values and leisure activities, providing a comprehensive treatment highlighted by the Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre.
