Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre has signed a collaboration agreement with Maria Villalba – Equine Cardiologist, in order to participate in the organization of a course in this subject at the Yeguada Caballero Horche (Guadalajara).
The course was conducted in order to gain knowledge on the approach to cardiovascular problems in horses, diagnostic techniques, treatment options and prognosis.

The training, including theory and practice, took place on the 9th and 10th of May. Throughout these two days, 20 students (maximum agreed places) could learn and experience various veterinary practices, such as cardiac auscultation or electrocardiogram, with the help of Maria Villalba Orero, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Director of Equine Anesthesia Service and Researcher at the National Centre for Cardiovascular Research.
With this collaboration,Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre continues to work in the field of job training, helping the realization, evaluation and expansion of courses which focus on the equestrian field.
