Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre provided to A.P.N.E.E.F. – Asociación de Personas con Necesidades Especiales de Eivissa y Formentera with adapted riding equipment, being this the first time that both organizations have signed a cooperation agreement.

A.P.N.E.E.F is a non-profit organization that supports, from the moment of their birth, children with special educational needs, with any type of diversity or suffering of physical or sensory impairment. They work, among other therapy options, with hippotherapy and therapeutic riding.

Their Equine Therapy Project is oriented to the children and youths at A.P.N.E.E.F, all with very different profiles. 19 users benefit currently from this service.

The activities are held on Saturdays, from 9:00h to 14:00h, in individual or couple sessions 40 minutes long, and will continue throughout 2017.

Equine Therapy helps individuals with diversity to improve their physical, intellectual and psychological condition, and increases their options regarding life quality, which is part of the mission pursued by Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre.
