For the second consecutive year, the Foundation to Promote Equestrian Sports collaborated in the program “ASPACE Horse-Assisted Therapies”, developed by the ASPACE Baleares Association since year 2012/2013.


The program, developed over the school year, comprises two activities:

• A horse care workshop for 50 users of the Es Siurell Day Center, where they can feed and wash mares and clean the fences.
• Horse-assisted therapy sessions, benefitting 26 users over the 2013/2014 period, and with a total of 30 people enrolled in this new course.

The sessions, carried out on an individual basis, are established with specific goals for each students, and they have a duration of 45 minutes.
By donating adapted materials, the Foundation to Promote Equestrian Sports reaffirms its commitment to horse-assisted therapies, promoting and getting involved in the execution of projects such as the one presented by ASPACE.
