17th Navarran Horse-Riding Games: Navarran Federation of Adapted Sports
The Foundation to Promote Equestrian Sports collaborated with the Navarran Federation of Adapted Sports (FNDA) to facilitate the organization of the 17th Navarran Horse-Riding Games. This is the third consecutive year that the FNDA receives support from our Foundation to hold these Games, during the months of March, April, May, June and September, with the presence of several clubs from Navarra.
The goal of the Games is to promote equestrian sports among people with mental disabilities, both due to their sportive qualities and to the benefits offered at a personal level. This year, 9 clubs in the Navarra region took part, with an overall 233 students who were able to take practical horse-riding lessons and enjoy other adapted activities, leaving the last day for the competition.
With this contribution, the Foundation to Promote Equestrian Sports supports the initiatives promoting equestrian sports among people with disabilities, providing them with benefits in the special areas they need to work on, as well as at the emotional level, by increasing their confidence and self-esteem.
