Plena Inclusión Don Benito
This association, formerly called Aprosuba 4, was born in 1972 on May 7th, 1972 in Don Benito. It is a non-profit private association, member of Plena Inclusión Extremadura, whose mission is to contribute, through it’s ethical commitment and the provision of resources and opportunities, so every and all individuals with intellectual diversity or developmental disorders, and their families, can fulfil their own life project, promoting quality of life, full rights citizenship and inclusion in a fair and supportive society.
Their Equestrian Therapy project to give individual therapy to the Day Care Centre, Occupational Centre and «C.E.E. Nuestra Señora de las Cruces» users, most of them diagnosed with conditions such as cerebral palsy, body dysmorphic disorders, Rett syndrome, sensorial impairment, split spine or ataxia, will receive the support of Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre in 2019 for the acquisition of an access ramp to the horse.
