The Foundation for the Promotion of Equestrian Sport  cooperates for the first time with the equestrian therapies program conducted by West Galicia Association, based in La Coruña, by ensuring the good condition of the equipment used to improve the quality of the therapy sessions.

Six children diagnosed with West Syndrome, or other similar symptoms, tried a horse assisted therapeutic method, and benefited from the equine therapy from January to September 2016.

During the sessions an individual plan was designed, according to each child’s age and functional ability, using different techniques to improve the child’s social integration, and physical, psychological and social development.
 

With this sponsorship, the Foundation for the Promotion of Equestrian Sport makes its contribution so associations and other institutions conducting equestrian therapy sessions have the resources required to guarantee their effectiveness, by donation of adapted riding material or facilitating its purchase.
