Facilities Improvement – Fundación MHG
Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre and Fundación MHG, from Madrid, signed their sixth cooperation agreement to improve the facilities in which this entity conducts its Horse Assisted therapy Programs.
After an analysis of the necessities in the new premises, cooperation focused on the installation of a sheltered stand by the ring to be used as a tack room, so participants can easily help preparing the equipment and have riding and teaching equipment and materials easy at hand.
96 users from different centres associated to the Grupo AMÁS for individuals with intellectual diversity, will benefit from the new stand. These users attend the premises of the Foundation every week from October to June, in groups of 6, to receive Equestrian Therapy sessions. There are also other users, mainly children and youths under age, who go to participate in individual sessions, leisure groups and training courses.
Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre has cooperated once again with Fundación MHG from the belief that good equipment and resources to develop the projects are the best help they can receive to meet their learning and therapeutic goals.
