The result of the first cooperation agreement between Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre and Asociación Al Paso, from Madrid, was the donation of adapted riding equipment to be used in their Therapy Program.

The equipment is used during the hippo therapy sessions conducted for the benefit of 8 children, aged from 4 y 12, with motor difficulties such as disorders in balance and posture control, postural asymmetry, etc.
Sessions are 45 minutes long, and go on from September to June, with a total of 60 participants who attend once or twice a week.
Therapeutic goals are designed for each patient, and cover physical, psychological, sensory, and social integration issues.

 
Once again, Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre donates adapted riding equipment. In this occasion, it will benefit the Association’s members by improving their muscle tone and balance, and riding safety standards.
