Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre has signed a cooperation agreement with Parents and Carers of Severely Mentally Disabled People Association in Las Hayas-Monjardín Centre (APAMO), with the objective of donating an adapted ramp to access the horse, which will improve their equine therapy program, oriented to people with intellectual disadvantages or multiple disabilities.

Since the sessions began, the staff at Las Hayas realised that several of the users form AMAPO had mobility problems that restricted their access to the horse, making therapy impossible.

With this sponsorship, Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre favours equality of opportunities in the access to equestrian therapies. The donation of this ramp has enabled around 30 new users to enlist in the therapies, with a direct impact in their progress and quality of life.
