Equinoterapia Madrid Sur (Equine therapy South Madrid) is an association created in 2013 that has a team of professionals with training in various fields (health, education and social), and specific training in the world of equestrian therapies. The Foundation for the Promotion of Equestrian Sport works in this new journey through the donation of an adapted ramp of access to the horse that allows them to expand their field of action with people with mobility difficulties.


This association, established in the Madrid area, has 33 patients attending privately on a weekly basis. They are people with various disabilities, aged between 2 and 50 years.
They also look after 30 other users of the Parque de Coimbra Residential Center, of the Amas Group, who also attend to therapy sessions with horses.

With this ramp, The Foundation for the Promotion of Equestrian Sport not only enables people with mobility difficulties to carry out their therapies in a safer and more efficient way, but it works to develop a new partnership that will allow more people with special needs to have access to therapies with horses and improve their quality of life, as well as that of their families and their immediate environment.
