ADEG Association is a non-profit institution, born in 2001 to promote and facilitate access to Horse Assisted Therapy (HAT) to all individuals in need of their physical, psychic, social or occupational benefits, among others. Its action range is mainly the province of Girona (Catalonia).

Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre has set to cooperate with their project for 2019: the promotion of volunteering and the training of volunteers as Horse Assisted Therapy support workers.

The project aims to improve the basic instruction of volunteers, to manage a list of volunteers to give support to the centres assigned to A.D.E.G., and also to design, organize and conduct specific training for volunteers involved in HAT. The project is oriented to all persons interested in HAT, with a spirit for volunteering, and who want to feel part of a team of professionals dedicated to the world of horses and diversity issues.
