Expert on Horse assisted Interventions Degree – Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Complutense University of Madrid). From July 1st to December 31st, comprising both lectures and practical training classes for 18 pupils.

VII Meeting Equidinamia: Myths and Truths on Horse Sport Health. Optimal Fitness of Sport horses. May and June at Hospital Clínico Veterinario Virgen de las Nieves, Madrid. 28 participants.

V Course on Horse Cardiology – María Villaba-Cardiología Equina. Conducted in April at Yeguada Caballero, Guadalajara. 20 participants in lecture sessions and 12 in practical training sessions.

Lectures on Osteopathy, Odontology and Physiotherapy, held at different Veterinarian University Schools throughout the country.

Professional Education and Training for Judges and Technicians.

Meeting with various associations and equestrian centers. Held on January 21st 2019 at the Country Club Villa de Madrid, it was attended by 24 centers from different regions of the country, where they presented their projects for this year and shared their experiences in the area with the rest of the attendants. This annual meeting, which has been taking place uninterruptedly since 2007, is one of the most popular among our collaborators.

We collaborate with several equestrian at a national level, in the development of seminars and volunteering courses, for the preparation of youths and people involved in the equestrian world, with the aim of providing them with the tools and knowledge needed to take part in future equine therapy sessions.

Training Course for Volunteers as Horse Assisted Therapy Assistants – Asociación Equinoterapia Girona. Held from January to March 2019, for the benefit of 20 volunteers and 10 patients.

II Project for the Training of Professionals in the field of Mental Wellbeing in the use of Horse Assisted Therapies – Equitalia Valladolid. Two days of practical training in horse assisted activities for beneficiaries from Fundación Intras. Three hours each session, held In March and April for 30 participants.

Entrepreneurship Promotion and Pre-employment Training Program on horse assisted therapies – Asociación de Equitación Terapéutica La Corbera. Training sessions held during one weekend in May and another in June to initiate adults in the function of assistant carer for persons with functional diversity. Seville, 6 participants.

Training Course on Inclusive Riding – Fundación Caballo Amigo. Technical information and orientation on adapted sports practise, finishing with inclusive riding games. 32 participants. Madrid.

Summer Camps “Al Paso 2019 Riding Smiles” – Asociación Al Paso. Riding camp held from Monday to Friday (two weeks, 4 hours a day), for 18 beneficiaries with several degrees of functional diversity, and five volunteers who learn to manage and look after the horses.

El Molino Special Needs School participates in the FEDDI Spain Riding Championship. In Zamora, 7 riders and 2 carers from El Molino/Fundacion Ciganda Ferrer. Pamplona.

El Molino Special Needs School participates in XXII Navarra Equestrian Games. From March to May. 4 mornings, 80 participants, with activities such as horse handling, vault, stable and horse grooming, rides out in the mountains. Pamplona.

XXII Navarra Equestrian Games – FNDA (Federación Navarra de Deportes Adaptados). From March to October with 344 beneficiaries from Clubs at special education needs schools. Two hours Riding lessons during four days, for each group of 8-10 participants (a total of 8 hours per person and group).

Adapted Riding School, Specific and Inclusive Stages – FNDA (Federación Navarra de Deportes Adaptados). Specific Stage: Riding for persons with functional diversity, 4 sessions for 1 hour each, and 8 participants. Inclusive Stage: persons with and without diversity, four 4-hour sessions in June and July. 8 beneficiaries.

Project based on equestrian inclusive leisure activities – Asociación ITA. Leisure and educational activities for participants with and without diversity. 50 beneficiaries.

Summer Camps – Asociación Equitación Positiva. Residential Camp at Cubillos del Sil, during the last week in June, and Day Camp at El Asturcón Equestrian Centre, during July and August, Monday to Friday from 10 to 14 hrs.

“Team work with the horse” –  ASPANAES Ferrol. Horse riding, neuromuscular, balance and psychomotor exercising, physical workouts and games. Two days a weeks from January to June, for 27 participants aged 4 to 18.

Therapeutic Program – Asociación de Profesionales de Terapias con Caballos (APTC). 2 and a half months of therapeutic interventions for a group of ten children, aged 3 to 6, with severe and permanent special needs, form Sebastián Burgos Special Education School.

Horse Assisted Therapy for youths with intellectual diversity, 2019 – Fundación Carriegos. From February to December, 45 minutes sessions held on a weekly basis. For 10 participants aged 6 to 26. León.

Horse Assisted Interventions for youths with functional diversity – Asociación Unicorn. 10 sessions scheduled from December to June, for 8 youths with functional diversity. Arenys de Munt, Barcelona.

“Seahorse” Project – Fundación Cavalli. 6 sessions, for 40 minutes each, for 10 children with rare diseases. From March to July. Alhama de Murcia, Murcia.

Quirón Equine Therapy Project for the elderly and adults with functional diversity – Abaqur Paraecuestre. Adults aged 35 to 90 with functional diversity. From March to June, 16 sessions held weekly. 15 beneficiaries. Madrid.

Therapeutic Manes II – Emoticanimal. To build up sensory, intellectual, motor, social, educational and equestrian skills in a group of 6 youths from Mater Misericordae with functional diversity. Mallorca, three months.

¡We improve galloping! – Fundación ASPACE Navarra Residencial. Equine Therapy for 24 beneficiaries from the School, the Day Care Centre and Nursing Home, all with multiple functional diversity. During October and November, with 16 sessions with a 10:30h a 13:00 h schedule. Zizur Menor, Navarra.

Horses as a therapeutic resource for the education of children with visual diversity and blind-deafness – Fundación Caballo Amigo. Therapeutic riding project for the benefit of 8 children from the Educational Resources Centre, that suffered from visual diversity and blind-deafness. From October to December in weekly sessions. Madrid

“We keep inclusive on horse II” – Arekitemo. 39 children and youths aged 3 y 21, from Gorbeialde HBI Special Needs School at Vitoria-Gasteiz. October and November. Victoria, Álava.

Intervention Program based on Horse Therapy for persons suffering from Fetal Alcohol Syndrome – Fundación AROS-Contigo Aprendí.  4 individual sessions, held monthly from April to June, for 5 children and youths from the Virgen de la Arrixaca University Hospital, Murcia.

Horse Assisted Therapy Programs – CEE El Molino. From September, weekly therapeutic sessions form more than 40 children at El Molino School, and horse riding training sessions with youths from  Sierra de Leyre Lumbier High School.
