Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre, in collaboration with Fundación Caballo Amigo, organized on January 21st a new edition of the Annual Meeting of associations and professionals working in the field of Therapeutic Riding in Spain, this being the twelfth time that this meeting has taken place.

The venue chosen for the event was the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, where from 11:00 in the morning the presentations of their different projects followed one another and general conclusions were outlined, to continue with a joint lunch. The Meeting ended at around 4:00 p.m.

 
The main goals pursued with this annual meeting were:

• To put in contact all the representatives of institutions conducting Equestrian Activities oriented to individuals with special needs.
• To gather information about the real needs of institutions and professionals, so the Foundation can assist them with technical advice and support.
• To discuss problems shared by the Equestrian Therapy community in our country.
• To establish bonds towards the development of joint programs among the different institutions.
• To collect sponsorship applications for projects to be developed in 2019.

Once again, the support of the Therapeutic Riding Associations to this meeting has been key to its success. Institutions from all over the Spanish geography defended their projects, willing to benefit from Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre 2019 Grants.

Another interesting point of the Meeting is the presence of professionals of different profiles and sound experience in therapeutic work with horses that creates the opportunity to exchange expertise and assessment, forging new ideas that contribute to improving the sector.
