After five consecutive years of collaboration between Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre and Fundación ASPACE Navarra Residencial, in 2019 a new agreement was signed to support the project “Mejoramos al Galope” (“We improve at full gallop”).

“Mejoramos al Galope” (“We improve at full gallop”) Equine therapy program has been carried out in the facilities of the Centro Ramón y Cajal, which belongs to Fundación Aspace Navarra Residencial and is located in Zizur Menor, center that has an equine therapy track, built to the expense of an altruistic donation in 2009.

 
The activity has been carried out during the month of November in 3 sessions, with group and individual activities.
Daily planning involved a three hours schedule (from 10:30 a.m. to 13:30), with 6 sessions of twenty-five minutes each day, for 13 participants; 6 from the Day Care Centre and 6 from the School.

 
The objective of this program was to use equine therapy to carry out sensory stimulation, rehabilitation, physical and emotional well-being activities with people with diversity, in line with Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte priorities.
