evel I Training for Equestrian Therapies Support Workers – Asociación EquiTEA

Fundación para la Promoción para el Deporte Ecuestre and  EquiTEA, joined their efforts for the 5th time to support the course Level I Training for Equestrian Therapies Support Workers, conducted by the later.

The course was programmed for March 2nd, 3rd and 4th, with two different options: a 20 hour schedule, between lectures and practice, and a 30 hour schedule that was completed with 10 additional hours of therapy sessions. In total there were 10 participants.

The program focused on providing basic knowledge on Horse Assisted Interventions and their basic principles regarding intellectual and sensory diversity, awareness on adaptive and social barriers, the psychology of therapy horses and their handling and training, the profile of target profiles and the benefits of these interventions.

Once again, Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre is committed with professional training as the main tool to improve user experience and the benefits achieved through equestrian therapies.
