The Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre and Asociación West Galicia, from A Coruña, signed in 2019 their second collaboration agreement in order support their Equine therapy program.

Individual Equine Therapy sessions are performed for 7 children, with an average age of 8, diagnosed with West Syndrome. Sessions run for 40 to 55 minutes, weekly, for 11 months.
In addition to these direct beneficiaries, 28 family members and health workers can be considered as indirect beneficiaries.

 
Horse Therapy for children suffering from West Syndrome has very positive results in aspects such as safety and mobility, which is why the Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre is willing to collaborate, so these children have access to Horse Assisted Therapy.
