Donation of Adapted Equestrian Equipment – Fundación Carlos Espigares

Fundación Carlos Espigares, from Seville, has received a donation of adapted equestrian equipment as a result of the first collaboration agreement signed with Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre.

The equipment has been used in their daily equine therapy program carried out with socially vulnerable children aged 7 to 18 who attended the sessions once a week from September to June, and also with students from the University of Seville with pathologies such as maturational delay, schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorders, etc.
Another of the activities in which the material has been used was the program “Solidary Carts” (“Enganches Solidarios”), held on Saturdays and Sundays from October to May for three hours a day for the same beneficiaries of the equine therapy program and for other youths with diversity that went to Seville parks to enjoy working sessions with horses.
The total number of users has been 48 people.

The Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre continues to donate equipment and generate new collaborations that consolidate Equestrian Therapies in Spain, what is showing an impact on the increasing number of beneficiaries.
