Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre has signed the fourth agreement to support the educational program for professionals working with Horse Assisted Therapies professionals run by Centro de Equitación y Equinoterapia (Biki Blasco Biki Blasco Riding and Equine Therapy Centre).

The Workshop on “Intelligence, Emotions and Horses with Regina Ballarin”  was held on May 14^th and 15^th,  was attended by 14 therapists, and consisted of individual and group dynamics to help build systemic interventions in therapy sessions.

On the other hand, the Horsemanship Course was conducted on May 28^th and 29^th, 2016. This course focused on teaching the 10 therapists attending, how to improve effective handling, understanding and communication with horses, to ensure they are in optimal condition for therapy work.

Understanding horse behaviour and the dynamics of interaction with the animal is of key importance when conducting equestrian therapies, and for this reason Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre wants to promote the training of specialised professionals.
