Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre has established the third cooperation agreement with María Villalba, head of the project “Equine Cardiology”, to participate in the organization of the course on the subject held at Yeguada Caballero (Horche, Guadalajara).
 
María Villalba Orero is a Ph. D. in  Veterinarian Medicine, Head of the Equine and Research Anaesthetic Service at the National Centre for Cardiovascular Research.

 
The course, with a 12 hour schedule comprising lectures and practise, was held on May 19^th and 20^th, with 20 participants.
Lectures focused on the approach to cardiovascular problems in horses, diagnose techniques, intervention options and prognosis. Practise sessions dealt with heart auscultation and electrocardiography.

 
The support to training initiatives in among the goals of Fundación para la Promoción del Deporte Ecuestre,specially when they open doors to new intervention and professional fields.
